Open house again on CNY Day 2 (29 July 2017). FREE Entrance for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents; and $2 per person for others.

In term of architecture, this building is boring mix of malay british classical revival colonial style. The rooms are plain & focus on space and air flow. Sadly that the only 1st floor open.

Prepare for a queue for enterance. Security checks before entry. Only opens 5times a year. Check the website for the dates.

Big place. Today, the Istana is the official residence of the President of Singapore.
