Free entrance. Beautiful monument in the middle of a pond. Convenience store outside. Washroom is 0.20 RM.

Such beautiful place to visit but sadly the Jalur Gemilang held by our beloved Tugu Negara was old, and torn due to the weather. Hopefully the caretaker would replace the flag as soon as possible!

The National Monument commemorates the fallen soldiers during WWII and the Malayan Emergency.The best time to visit is at dawn, where a soldier raises the national flag and lowers it again at dusk.
