Come here for the exhibit on the history of Nairobi on the upper floor and, if you're not too afraid, check out the outdoor snake exhibit.

Get a guide - it’s free, though tip if yours was excellent as ours was. History of Kenya, history/bones of early humans, animals, culture, it’s a one stop shop for learning about Kenya!

Come to the StoryMoja Hay Festival from 19th to 22nd September 2013. There's a Motown party "Dance With The Stars" on Thursday, and Workshops, Storytelling, Performances every day till Sunday.

avoid weekdays especially Fridays...unless of course you can enjoy art with school children running around the museum.
