Definitely faded quasi-grandeur but it's a clean and functional hotel with plenty of space in the rooms and comfortable beds.

Could do with a face lift. Decor a bit dated. I have been coming here for the last 4 years and every we are told that this will be are last as the hotel is beibg demolished!

Good value hotel 4 the locale, but eat @ the Woktastic sushi & noodle bar at night. Full English breakfast should be 3, so shop around if it's offered. Decor in some rooms is a bit dated. Superb staff

DO NOT stay here. A 5am fire alarm showed that the staff has no ability to manage a serious crisis as they all disappeared leaving the guests to burn and die should there have been a real fire.

If you can, choose another place to eat. The food is better if you venture away from the hotel. The hotel is superb value though.

Asian restaurant is decent, but rooms are like stepping back in to 1971. Looks nothing like the contemporary decor shown in the pics on the website. Avoid.

Stayed here for 4 conferencees. Ever since the first occassion the service has gotten worse, the rooms less accessible, and smaller and this is the worst conference hotel I have used.
